The third of six children, Annie spent her early childhood in Cedar Creek and then moved to Austin where she attended Anderson High School. She also attended Nixon Clay Business School. She worked and retired from Austin State Hospital in food service.
Annie met and married Raymond McGlory in Phoenix, AZ. She later moved back to Austin, TX where she had four children, Patricia, Mary, John and Rickie. She also was the legal guardian to Marcus.
Annie was a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother. She loved helping people and praying for them.
She joined church at an early age in Cedar Creek, TX. She later joined Mt. Zion where she was a devoted and active member until she transitioned. Annie departed this life while in the loving care of her children and family.
Annie lived for over 97 years and was filled with lots of wisdom and healing hands.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ollie and Rubell Arnold. Siblings Ollie James Arnold, Willie Arnold, Large Arnold and Chester Arnold.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Minnie Lee Eddie of Maryland, her children Patricia Hackett (Joseph), Mary McIver (Weldon), John McGlory, Rickie McGlory, Marcus McGlory (Debra), her special nieces Shirley Hunter and Gillis Branch and a host of grandkids and great grandkids, and a host of relatives and friends.
