To My Dear Nanny,
You were as much apart of my life as the sun. There everyday bright and warm. My memories of you are so vivid. I remember walking Bandit and Cindy in the evenings with you and Pappy, riding the bus to your house everyday after school, and watching our shows Third Watch, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune together. I remember sharing secrets with you, thrift shopping with you and mom every Thursday, and having lunch at your house every Sunday. But most importantly I remember how much we loved each other, and that love is transcendent. I wish I could go back and tell myself about this day so that every hug could have been a little tighter and every conversation a little longer. You are such an important part of my life and I’ll forever treasure the 28 and a half years I had you here with me. I love you Nanny. I love you so much and I know we’ll see each other again. Until then rest peacefully,I’m going to take care of mom and pappy, we’re all gonna take care of each other, and keep you in our hearts forever.
Love Always,
-Gabrielle
