

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Joseph Garcia. He was born in Austin, Texas on January 3, 1964. He entered unto eternal rest on June 25, 2025. He was 61 years of age. He was preceded in death by his father, Hilario Garcia and brother, Eddie Arechiga.
He is survived by son, Mason Garcia; mother, Dolores Yanez; brothers, Mike Garcia and Ronnie Garcia; niece, Nikki Garcia; and nephews, Mark Garcia and Jeff Garcia. He will also be missed tremendously by all his nieces, nephews, bellowed aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Anthony was a collector of oddities, such as beer cans, soda cans, and bottles of uncommon brands that he would find or come across while walking. He also collected toys from the McDonald’s happy meals, baseball cards, and concert tickets. He attended concerts at the tender age of 15. He had an impressive collection over the 46 years of collecting. He was an avid sports fan, particularly following the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed to BBQ especially on special occasions, hanging out with friends and fishing.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mason Garcia, Mark Garcia, Jeff Garcia, Josh Chase, Albert Riojas, and Eric Garza.
Rest in peace Anthony, your light will continue to shine brightly in the memories of those who loved you. He will be deeply missed.
