

Arline attended Pease Elementary and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School. She attended Mary Baldwin College and the University of Texas where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd since the early days of its founding, the Junior League of Austin, and an honorary member of the Helping Hand Society.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was generous to her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Kay Finnell and husband Charles; her daughter-in-law Mary Lou Fitzpatrick; grandchildren Elizabeth Pitts and husband Jason, and Kathryn Fitzpatrick; and great-grandchildren Wynn Pitts and Curt Pitts. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Curtis Fitzpatrick, her son Curt Fitzpatrick and her sister Thelma Bolm Yeates.
The family wishes to thank Grace Reaves and Ella Easley for their care and compassion over the past few years.
Funeral services officiated by The Reverend Morgan Allen will be held Friday, August 6, 2010, at 2 PM at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with burial at Austin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 3201 Windsor Road, Austin, Texas 78703 or the Helping Hand Home for Children, P.O.
