Bahman was born in Putnam County, New York, in 1977. In 1982, he moved with his family to Charlotte, North Carolina. In the late 1980s, he developed a deep love for hard rock and heavy metal and aspired to play the guitar. His family relocated to Austin, Texas, in 1991, where he attended Westlake High School and received his first guitar. Music became his passion as he expanded into classical, jazz fusion, big band jazz, and world fusion. He played in several bands and later developed an even greater passion for the drums.
He attended St. Edward's University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2008. He was also one of the first and longest-serving employees at the Jimmy John's on Bee Caves Road and a regular at Gold's Gym.
He is survived by his father, Aspi, his mother, Ketty, and his brother, Raiyomand.
