

Barbara was born on September 8, 1940, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to the late Eli and Ida (Theriot) LeBlanc. She married and lived the life of a military wife, stationed from base to base while raising 4 children. Following her divorce, she returned to her home town of Biloxi, Mississippi. After Hurricane Katrina, her daughters persuaded her to move closer to them and she agreed. She settled at the Pleasanton Senior Apartments in Pleasanton, Texas, and she made many friends. She spent time crocheting and embroidering gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed bingo, jigsaw puzzles, puzzle books, and was a huge fan of WWE Wrestling.
She loved her grandchildren and spent countless hours coloring and watching Disney movies with them.
After an extended illness, she moved even closer to her daughters, where she resided at Onion Creek Senior Care Center in Austin, Texas, until her passing.
She will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Ida LeBlanc; her sisters, Elma Compton, Doris Tiller, Elaine Eaton; and brother, Harry LeBlanc.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Madsen and husband Tom; and Belenda Barta, both of Austin, Texas, Glenn Davis and wife Donna of Vancleave, Mississippi; Ronnie Davis & wife Susan of Rocksprings, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be Visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2016, beginning at 10:00 A.M., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 16, 2016, Interment will follow immediately at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
