Ben was born on December 12, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in San Antonio and was a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He married June Stanford on April 9, 1950.
Ben began his career in the Life Insurance business in the late 1950s. He was a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table and active in many local clubs, including the Exchange Club.
Ben is survived by his wife, June; sons Ben, Jim (Nancy) and John. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and his brother, Luis.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 4311 Small Drive. Burial will be private.
