Ben Soto Jr. loved life. He lived life and enjoyed every minute. He especially loved to dance and listen to his Tejano music, especially Little Joe and Ruben Ramos. He worked many years as a beer man for Schiltz, and Miller Lite. He then got into the construction industry working for Capital Aggregates for many years before retiring. Ben had many friends, who meant the world to him, as he was a true Austinite born and raised in East Austin.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Soto and his children, Robert, Ben Soto III (wife Jeanette), Theresa, and Edward (wife Athena). He is survived by eleven grandchildren, Bobby, Darrell, Timmy (Robert), Mark, Margo, Santana, and Shawn (Ben III), Theresa (Jacob), and Edward (Christian, Amaya, Avieon) and seventeen great grand children. He is survived by his sisters (Mary Alvarez and Irene Luevano and husband Rudy Luevano), and brother (Gilbert Soto). Ben will rest in heaven with his father, Benito Soto, mother, Teresa Soto, sister Lidia Sandoval and mother in law, Juanita Cavasoz along with his other beloved family members.
