Bertie Robinson of Bastrop, formerly of Austin, died April 11, 2008 at the Luling Wound Care Clinic. He was born November 30, 1921. Bertie was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Jack and Terry; and daughter-in-law, Sherrie Robinson. He is survived by his granddaughter, Sandra Scott and husband Eddy of Bastrop and grandson, Terry Robinson of Bastrop. Bertie was a strong, wonderful man who loved to be around people and make them laugh. He was a very smart man of many things and taught his family so much. He will be missed. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Austin Memorial Park.
