Betty Jo Fitzpatrick

She attended Waco High School graduating in 1950 then attended Business College. Betty Jo married Larry Fitzpatrick on August 31, 1958 and through his military service the family enjoyed traveling the world, Philippines and Hawaii. She worked in Sales at the Novy Department Store, and in the accounting office of Recreation and Welfare. She was a founding member of L.U.L.A.C. in Waco; and assistant director of the Bergstrom Childcare Center.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Fitzpatrick.

Betty Jo Fitzpatrick is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Fitzpatrick; son, Ronald; sister, Evangeline Martinez of Waco, Texas; two nieces, Pamela Martinez, Carlena Martinez; nephews, Fermin Martinez, Jacob Martinez; and numerous cousins in Austin and Waco.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 23, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel with Reverend Harold Essling, CSC officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Hill Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Timothy Flynn, Ralph Gonzalez, Jacob Martinez, Carlos Johnson, Steven Cheifley, and Isaac Ramirez.
