

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Naoma Russell, her step-mother Elsa Russell and her son, Russell Lee Crump.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Frank L Crump, Jr., sons David Crump and his wife Rosanne of Austin, TX, James Crump of Lakewood, CO, and grandsons John Cray Crump and his wife Susan, Michael Crump, and Robert Crump, all of Austin, TX.
She graduated from Kenmore High School in Kenmore, NY in 1941. Beverly continued her education at Ohio Wesleyan University obtaining a degree in Education in 1945. From 1946 to 1947 Beverly attended Union Theological Seminary of Columbia University. There she received a Master's Degree in Religious Education. She taught bible studies in public schools of Fauquier County, VA from 1945 to 1947.
On June 15, 1947 she married Frank. They had three sons, Russell, David and James. Beverly spent the next 20 years following Frank's Naval career making a home for her family in 19 places in 8 states during that time. On Aug. 1, 1967 Frank retired from the Navy and the family moved to Austin, TX.
Beverly and Frank spent many years traveling by camper around the U.S., Canada and Alaska. They took two extended sojourns to Hereford, England. There they made several lifelong friends, some who would travel to visit them in Austin.
Beverly was an active volunteer in her sons' activities and in her church wherever she lived. She was a volunteer at Hospice Austin along with Frank from 1996 to 2003. She was a member of St. George's Bible Study, St. Georges Extended Family, All Saints Episcopal Church and The Daughters of the King.
A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church located at 209 W. 27th Street Austin, TX 78705 on January 15, 2015 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Beverly's memory to either The All Saints Episcopal Church's Endowment Fund or to Hospice Austin.
