Beverly Rose Fitzsimmons, 68, of Elgin passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 with her loving family at her side. A native Texan, she was born in Yoakum, Texas on June 28, 1938. On August 10, 1962 she was married to Dennis W. Fitzsimmons. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2000. Beverly and Dennis met in the Navy where they were stationed in Virginia in 1960. After serving in the Navy they moved back to Texas where they pursued careers in the food industry. Beverly is survived by her four children, Michael Fitzsimmons and wife, Ora; Mark Fitzsimmons; Kelly Wolfe and husband Chris; Kasey Pfuntner and husband Brian; along with five grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Ira Niemann and Betty Nemes. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel prior to the funeral service being held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, November 11, 2006.
