

Beverly R. Lamkin of Cedar Park, TX passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the age of 100 years. Beverly was born January 25,1925, in Wichita, KS to the late Harry and Bertha (Andrews) Reese. She graduated from North High School in Wichita, KS. After high school, she married George F. Lamkin and the union lasted 71 years.
She instantly became a military wife, moved to San Diego, CA, and took on various jobs to help establish their life together. After completing his military service, they returned to family in Wichita, KS, where Beverly began a career in accounting, working at several businesses including Cessna Aircraft.
Beverly had several interests, expressing her talent as a beautiful seamstress, playing the piano, and gardening. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She approached everything she did with tenacity, grace, and a good sense of humor. She put others first, looking out for their needs ahead of her own.
Beverly is survived by her two sons, B. Eric Lamkin of Wichita, KS and Sterling S. Lamkin (Linda) of Cedar Park, TX.
Grandchildren: Karianne Kutz of Wichita, KS; Julianne (Mitch) Sebring of Austin, TX; Brian Lamkin of Atlanta, GA; Amanda and Kallie Lamkin of Cedar Park, TX; Brandon (Josie) Skaer of Austin, TX; Jennifer (Mike) Kraisan of Foristell, MO; Melissa (Patrick) Rapp of Lawrence, KS.
Great-grandchildren: Kacey (Mercedes) and Myles Kutz of Wichita, KS; Devin (Maiya) and Madalyn Kraisan of Foristell, MO; Liam Smith and Ellie Rapp of Lawrence, KS.
Great-great-grandchildren: Rose and Anya Kutz of Wichita, KS.
Sister Nicky Johnson of Wichita, KS. Nephews Lawrence Lamkin and Kelly Johnson of Wichita, KS. Nieces Shannon (John) Harvell of Overland Park, KS; Jennifer (Matt) Wilcoxen UK.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Bertha, husband George, sister-in-law Louise Cook, brother-in-law Robert Lamkin, niece Veleta Oldfield and nephew, Robert Jr. Lamkin.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of The Isle at Cedar Ridge for the dignity, compassion, and friendship she was provided. And with special thanks to her caregiver, Darla, whom Beverly called her angel in disguise. We will be forever grateful.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 6, 2026, 11:00 AM at the Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home located at 9700 Anderson Mill Road in Austin, TX.
