
Bill was the first supervisor I had in the FAA.  He taught me how to do it right by setting the example.  Over the years we became friends, and I enjoyed more than a few beverages on his back porch watching the owls fly.  I'm so sorry for your loss Sara.  Bill is without a doubt one of the best people I have ever known.

Bill was my first supervisor at Houston Center. Bill was your friend first, a controller second and a supervisor third. He was one of the best if not the best supervisors I've ever had. He knew I did not like black-eyed peas, but every birthday he cooked me some black-eyed peas and I ate them. GOD BLESS YOU BILL!!!!!

Sara, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your husband.  We've not seen each other for many years; but thoughts and memories of McCallum bring you close at heart and mind once more.  We share in the sorrow you and your children bear.  It is our prayer that the Lord will grant you peace and comfort now and in the future. It was with great sadness that I heard of your passing , Bill. It's been a long time since we spoke  or visited but I always remembered you as one of the truly sincere and honest people at the center. I can still see your friendly smile and hear your words of encouragement and concern. The world is a better place for your contribution to it and you will always be remembered.



We'll miss you Pryor.  After you retired we didn't have anyone around to keep Webster in line about his dear Aggies like you used to do. I'll never forget the story you told in crew briefing one day about the Iterod dog sled races in Alaska. You had everyone convinced it was a true story, and managed to keep a straight face throughout. I can't make your memorial service, but you will be in my thoughts. I worked with Bill since 1958. I never met a nicer guy, especially when he never refused me when I asked him to work my mids for me.I remember the time bill was going to make a lot of money selling bat guano. That was about the time they moved us to Houston, so I don't think it worked out too well. Bill was a great guy and fun to be around, at work, or hunting and fishing. He will be sorely missed.



To Sara, Bonnie, and Cliff, our prayers are with you.  I will miss Bill very much. I hope he took one of those exploding golf balls with him so the Angels can have as much fun as we did.

I began working with Bill in 1967, we were supervisors in the same area and we used the same fishing guide. Bill was a great guy, way to young to have left us, my deepest sympathy goes to the entire family.



I had the privilege of being on Bill's crew at Houston Center.  He was a fine supervisor as well as a very nice guy and a pleasure to work with.  He will be greatly missed.

I've known Bill since New Orleans and San Antonio centers combined in Houston in 1965 and have considered him one of my closest friends.  I've never known a more considerate and kind person and I share the great loss that his family members feel at this time.  He was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed.



When you talk about real decent people, you're talking about Bill Pryor. If you were lucky enough to know him, you were blessed.

He was a good man, a good friend, &  always seemed to have a smile on his  face. He will be missed.
