Bill was born in Memphis, Texas in 1922 and served his country in the USAF during WWII. He was a lifelong pilot, avid golfer, a Mason and a member of the Letter Carriers Union.
He was a member of Crestview Methodist Church of Austin, Texas for 50 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Nelda.
He is survived by 2 sons; Tom (Wendy) Browning, of San Antonio, TX; Paul Browning, of Austin, TX; daughter, Robin (Gordon) Sparks, of Vero Beach, FL; grandsons, Trevor (Cinthia), Zachary and Jacob; great grandson Xavier, and his loving companion Therese Fredericks.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
