In the Spirit of life, Billie celebrated everything to its fullest. He is at rest after a 3½ year battle with cancer. His wife and high school sweetheart, Jeanne Cascio Kopeck who stood by his side for 49 years, survived him with their three children, John C. Kopeck of Austin, James G. Kopeck of Pasadena, Jannis M. Kopeck Miller of San Antonio, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He has joined his father, Felix Kopeck, and is survived by his mother, Katherine Kopeck of Houston, brother, Clarence Kopeck and sister, Mary Kopeck Hall both of Austin. The Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 20 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. The funeral liturgy will be at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, Emmaus Catholic Parish, Lakeway, Texas on Saturday, June 21 at 11:00 am. Bill's spirit will live on at Graveyard Point on Lake Travis. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmaus P.A.C., 1718 Lohman's Crossing, Lakeway, Texas 78734.
