Billie Jo Malone

Billie Jo Pearson Malone (“Sugie”, “Miss Billie”), of Austin and Magnolia Beach, went home at 5:40 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007 surrounded by an unbroken circle of family after 78 years of happiness. She was born near Dripping Springs, TX on December 2, 1928 to Albie Pearson and Ruby Prather. They subsequently moved to Austin where she was introduced to Claud Thomas Malone. He swore on their first date that he was going to marry her. They were joined on October 10, 1947. Mom was predeceased by Dad, her parents Ruby and Albie, and her brother Jim. She is survived by her brother Bob Pearson and his wife Bobbie of Bastrop; daughter Patsy and her husband Dubby Bourland of Austin; sons Mike Malone of Austin, Steve Malone and his wife Jeanette of Seadrift, and Kevin Malone of Austin; grandchildren Sandy, Stacey, Kiera, Charlotte, Trevor, Jerrad, and Mark; great-grandchildren Samantha, Kevin, Cassidy, and David; the aforementioned family circle, many friends, and no enemies. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 2, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel.
