Billie loved her family and had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special. She was an avid Texas Longhorn fan all the way. Her most memorable trip was to the Rose Bowl in 2006 to watch her Longhorns beat USC in the National Championship.
Billie Jean retired from the Veterans Administration DPC after 25 years. After retirement, she enjoyed her family, her home, and tailgating for Longhorn Baseball and Football Games.
Not only will she be missed by her family and friends who knew and loved her, but by her beloved dogs, Bucky and Bubba.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas.
