Billie Banks Valentine

Born to Lena Smith and Welford T. Hines in Rule, TX Billie was one of 12 children. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands Dale Dunlap, John H. Banks and Jerome Valentine, and most of her siblings. Survived by her three children; Dale Lyn Skach, Jeffrey Banks (lvalene) and Bette Bayne (Mark), 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Pauline Couch.

Billie attended Sul Ross University where she studied Pre-Law and she was granted special privilege by the Supreme Court of Texas to study law under her husband, John Banks.

Billie was a member of the Woman's Club, Northwest Hills Garden Club, President of 2 investment clubs, the Attorney General Wives Club, and Austin Law Wives. She loved bridge and was a Silver Master in ACBL. She loved her family, her church and entertaining.

The Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish North Lamar Chapel with Funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
