Billy Jack "Skeet" Truitt, 77, of Austin, died April 27, 2010. Born January 2, 1933 in Bastrop County, the son of Andrew Jack and Iva Whitworth Truitt. Married Kay Clark on June 17, 1961. Retired after 38 years service with the Texas Department of Insurance. Survivors include his wife Kay, and daughters Melissa (Gary) Truitt-Green of Austin, Susan (Doug) Cauthen of Driftwood, and beloved grandson Chance Douglas Cauthen. Also survived by brother-in-law Dr. Charles (Lavonna) Clark of Flatonia, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and brother, Howard. Visitation from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, North Lamar, with graveside services Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Austin Memorial Park.
