Birdie Alexander (Watts) Davidson passed away peacefully on Monday evening, March 28, 2005, at Austin Nursing Home. Birdie was born on July 19, 1907, to John Henry Alexander and Levinia Allie Echols Alexander in Lockhart, Texas. Growing up she spent many years in Gonzales, Texas. She was the last of ten children to leave this life. Birdie was preceded in death by her husband Stan Davidson who died in 1987. She is survived by her step-daughter, Charlotte Watson of Bismarck, Arkansas; three grandchildren, five great-granddaughters; nieces, Zolene Curlee, Lucille Ward, Evelyn Smith; nephews, John Lewis, Joe Lewis, Darryl Woodland and several great nephews and great nieces as well as several great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
