Our hearts are broken over the sudden passing of our dear friend Bob-we just cant believe he is gone! He was so full of life and he was so happy with the life he had with his family. I don't think we ever had a conversation where he did not bring up something about Julie, Davis, Brittni or one of the other kids or grand kids! His eyes would light up and he would grin from ear to ear as he spoke of them. It was clear how proud he was of each of them and how much he loved them.

We will miss seeing him in the neighborhood, the lawn tips he gave so freely, trying new restaurants, and of course the great pizzas he would make in his new pizza oven.

Our hearts and prayers are with Julie, Davis, Brittni, Shawna and Juley at this time and in the future.

What a kind, generous soul Bob was and I for one think the world is a little darker with out him.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Bob for over ten years. We not only did business but we actually broke bread his favorite weakness was a Lou Malnatti's pizza. After feeding our bodies we had many discussions about God and Family. Bob walked the walk and always tried to provide invaluable assistance and advice over my many crosses that I have had to bare. Our best discussions were regarding our children. Bob was and will always be so very proud of his children and his bride Julie. He always had a great story about Davis' pitching prowess and being out there for practice or how proud he was of Brittany at UT / Austin, her impending marriage and her new career. He loved to talk about Julie and her work and how important their family trips were. The latest talk was about the new landscape work the pizza oven and how he liked to cook. The only shortfall that I know Bob had was he gladly admitted to being a Cubs fan. I did try ardently to convert him to a White Sox fan. To no avail.

I feel that I have just not lost a friend but a fellow brother In Christ. We have had a great time together I now have another angel watching over me ... Heavens know I need it.

To Julie Brittany Shawna and Davis, My sincerest and deepest thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of mourning. Be strong become stronger and never loose your faith and belief in God. For their you will always find your Father my Dear Friend and business associate Bobby Blake ... Sales person extraordinaire. God Bless you all.

Juley and Shawna,

Your dad was a wonderful father. Easily one of my favorite fathers of our high school days together. I so enjoyed getting thrashed by him in racquetball as a teenager. Jenny, the girls and I send our love and prayers your way.
