Bonnie Faye Cantwell Sunrise: January 28, 1933 Sunset: September 12, 2005 Bonnie was born in Bartlett, Texas on January 28, 1933. She left this world for her Heavenly home September 12, 2005. She joins two of her five sons and a grandson as well as many other family members that have gone on before her. What a reunion that must be. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Edna Herrin, sons Howard Cantwell, Jr. and Gary Cantwell and a grandson, David Cantwell, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Howard Cantwell and their sons and wives; Wayne and Tonya Cantwell, David and Melissa Cantwell, Roger and Amy Cantwell and daughter-in-law Allyson Hunter-Cantwell (wife of Gary, deceased 7/13/05). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters Margaret Waechter-Richardson and Billie Maner. Bonnie was a treasure to her family and friends. A treasure now lost to us, never to be replaced. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a retired nurse who over the years lovingly cared for many. She weathered rough times with a positive outlook that encouraged those around her. She always had a hug and a smile for us. Our world is a better place by having had her in it. She will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral home, 3125 North Lamar in Austin. Graveside service Friday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m., Oak Grove Community Cemetery. If tears could build a stairway And memories a lane. I'd walk right up to heaven And bring you home again.
