Brad was the third child born to Don and Diana (Stelzleni) Wise in St. Louis, Missouri. As Don’s career progressed, the family was transferred from St. Louis to Raleigh, North Carolina, Yorktown Heights, New York, and Austin, Texas, and relocating periodically ensured that the Wise kids were not only siblings, but close friends as well. Brad will be sorely missed by his big brother and sister, and we will never be able to replace his sharp wit and loving dedication to his family.
Brad lived most of his life in Austin and graduated from Westwood High School. While attending Westwood, Brad met the love of his life, Shadna (Lee) Wise, and the family was happy to celebrate their marriage on June 9, 2000. Brad and Shadna had one child, Reagan Elizabeth Wise, to whom Brad could not have been a more devoted father.
Brad is survived by his wife, Shadna Wise and daughter, Reagan Wise, his brother, Greg Wise and wife, Susan, sister, Marcie (Wise) Davis Skonieczny and husband, David, and nieces and nephews Alison Wise, Conner Davis, Macy Wise, Claire Davis, Zane Jarvis, Tucker Kennemer, Boyd Kennemer, Bailey Kennemer and Daniel Douglas Maikell. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Steve and Linda Maikell, brother-in-law Jonathan Maikell and wife, Jennifer, and cousins Gina (Stelzleni) Siebe, Lisa (Stelzleni) Scherer, Anna (Stelzleni) Jewson and Lori (True) Gosnell. He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Diana Wise, grandparents Leo and Mildred Stelzleni and Ray and Olive Wise, uncle, Gary Stelzleni, and aunt, Gail True, and brother-in-law, Jamie Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, https://t2t.org/.
