Brooke Hack

Brooke was born on January 25, 1974, to Michael and Judi Overstreet. Brooke married Brian Hack on January 6, 1995. Their marriage was solemnized in the San Diego Temple on January 6, 1996.

Brooke grew up in Tucson Arizona. She moved to Austin Texas in 1999 with her husband Brian. Brooke was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life and served in several church callings. She loved to go on hikes and garden and be out in nature. She could play flute by ear and was well versed in the gospel and in physical sciences including geography, geology, and astronomy. Her love of God and her desire to be a wife and mother were driving forces in her life.

Brooke is survived by her husband, Brian Hack; sons, Alex Hack and Sam Hack; parents, Michael Overstreet and Judi Dunyon; sisters, Krysten Gardner and Kim Jablonski; brother, Kevin Overstreet; and three nephews and one niece.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3751 Trail Ridge Pass in San Marcos Texas. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with burial to follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park in Manchaca Texas.

Brooke will be greatly missed.
