Bryan received his B.A. from the University of Texas, School of Business and was an avid Longhorn fan.
He is survived by his son Bryan Cooper Simmons, Jr., daughter, Tracy “Sunshine” McCracken and son, William Clifton Simmons, II.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20th in the Chapel of Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eleanor’s Flag Fund, c/o Mr. Hardee McCrary, Associate Director of Development, Longhorn Foundation, P.O. Box 7399, Austin, TX 78713-7399. Please make checks payable to The University of Texas at Austin with a designation to “Eleanor’s Flag Fund” in the memo.
