Camille Erin Flynn

Camille Erin Flynn entered the loving arms of her Savior on Sunday, March 9, 2025. She was born on July 1, 1984, in Houston, Texas, to Debra and Michael Flynn. Camille grew up in Spring, Texas, graduating from Klein High School in 2002. She attended Concordia University in Austin, earning her Associate’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences, and later obtained her esthetician license from the Aveda Institute in Austin.

Throughout her life, Camille served in many professional roles, each defined by genuine compassion and care with her whole heart. A lover of art and music, Camille celebrated every holiday with enthusiasm and cherished finding special treasures to gift her loved ones. She enjoyed traveling, family beach vacations, floral arranging, crafting, and nurturing her beloved plants. Camille adored animals, lovingly caring for her dog Kyra and cat Poppy. Most of all, Camille loved her family and friends and was fiercely loyal and protective of them.

Camille was a cherished daughter, devoted sister, treasured cousin, loyal friend, and the greatest auntie. She delighted in spoiling the family’s children with treats, crafts, and heartfelt gifts. To know her was to experience joy - her laughter infectious, her kindness boundless, her uniqueness and authenticity undeniable, and her heart open to all - a free spirit in the truest sense. Camille overcame many struggles with unwavering faith, hope, and perseverance. She danced through life with an irrepressible energy that no hardship could dim.

Camille is survived by her mother and greatest champion, Debra Flynn; her big sister Diana and brother-in-law David Kuster; cousins Ava Hage, Rebecca and Mike Holland, Annie and Dan Reitz, Cristin Moor, Tyler and Lisa Steer, and Carrie Ellis; nieces and nephews Alyssa and Michael, Mia and Geo and Joey, Maxine, Coral, Ada and Ellie, and Thomas and Sarah; aunts and uncles Ezra and Amrita Moor, Kenny and Vickie Steer, and Maureen Adler-Stratford and Dick Stratford; along with many cousins and cherished friends who will deeply miss her presence.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Flynn; paternal grandparents Maurice Flynn and Caroline Senter; maternal grandparents Robert and Shirley Steer; her dear cousin Stephanie Adler; and other beloved family members who welcomed her home.

Though our hearts ache in Camille’s absence, we find comfort in the precious memories she leaves behind - the adventures, stories, laughter, and unconditional love she shared so freely. Camille was truly a gift to this world, and her radiant spirit will forever shine in each of our hearts.

A funeral service celebrating Camille’s life will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10am at St. Theresa's Church, located at 4311 Small Dr, Austin, TX 78731. A reception will follow from 11am to 1pm. Camille loved vibrant colors - if you are moved to wear color, please do. All attire is welcome.
