Cammie Simons Springer On November 14th, 2007, Cammie Simons Springer, 39, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is at peace. If you want to shed tears, make them tears of joy. She has been released from all her pain and is now rejoicing in her new home in Heaven. Cammie is survived by her husband, Robert Springer of Rockdale; her father and stepmother, Larry and Debbie Simons of Austin; her mother and stepfather, Judy and Rocky Ramirez of Montana; her "Nana" Vera Simons of Bastrop; grandparents Charles and Mary Bryant of Austin; her sister Dawn Kieren of Woodway; her half-brother Joshua of Washington state and haft-sister Regina of Montana; her uncle and aunt, Leroy and Shannon Simons of Waelder; and her uncle and aunt Rodney and Michelle Bryant of Austin and her best friend, Misty McCoy. Her many relatives and friends will miss this very caring and loving woman. She will be fondly remembered by all. Cammie was a kind-hearted young lady with a generous spirit, and had a deep faith in God. She lived life to the fullest and was an inspiration to all that knew her. She could do anything that she set her mind to, from her long career as a special education teacher in several Central Texas school districts, to building a home from the ground up. Her greatest gifts and pleasures were her love of teaching special young children, playing music, and caring for animals, especially her dog Cissy. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 18 from 3 pm to 5 pm at Weed Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar in Austin. Please join her family in a service to celebrate Cammie's life on Monday, November 19 at 2 pm at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 8134 Mesa Drive in Austin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Cammie's name to St. Matthews Episcopal Endowment Fund, Hospice Austin, or a charity of your choice.
