He was surrounded by his children Richard Galvan (Carol), Martha Arredondo (Israel), Stella Galvan (Donny Lopez), and Bertha Nanez.
He was preceded in death by his parents Estanislou and Camila Galvan.
Canuto was born in Lockhart and lived in Austin for most of his life. He was a professional dry cleaner and owned several cleaners, Galvan Cleaner’s on Oltorf, Airport and North Loop. He loved people and would strike up a conversation with anyone and was a friend to all.
He will be greatly missed by all.
The visitation will be held at 11:00am followed by his service at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. Interment will followed in Cook- Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
