

Our beloved Carlos Haros Sr born on November 9, 1946, in Edinburg, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, in Austin, Texas. Carlos dedicated his life to his family, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories that will live on for generations.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carolina Haros; his father, Luis Haros; and his mother, Raymunda Guzman Haros.
Carlos was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to his family. At the young age of 13, he began working in the fields alongside his father and siblings, where he learned the values of perseverance, responsibility, and determination. In the late 70’s, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by starting his own plumbing company and building the family home that became a place of love, comfort, and countless treasured memories.
Throughout his career, Carlos took many people under his wing, teaching them the plumbing trade and helping them build successful futures of their own. His knowledge, generosity, and willingness to help others created a lasting impact that continues through those he mentored and inspired.
Carlos is survived by his children: Carlos Haros Jr (Melissa Haros), Alice Haros, Diana Haros, and Daniel Haros (Mishelle Haros). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Christopher Haros (Rebecca Haros), Leticia Gallardo (Delbert Hoy), Valarie Hernandez, Vanessa Ward (Tyler Ward), Miranda Haros, Daniel Haros Jr. (Jessica Garcia), John Haros, Tiffany Keever, and Lianna Valdez, as well as 10 great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride.
Carlos will be remembered for his strength, kindness, dedication to family, and unwavering determination. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the family he cherished above all else.
Honoring his memory by serving as pallbearers will be Chris Haros, Daniel Haros Jr., John Haros, James Haros, Santos Gonzalez, Martin Castillo, and Johnny Guerrero.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that Carlos and Carolina are reunited once again. His love, guidance, and example will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749, US, on June 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church, 10068 Burklund Farms Rd, Texas, TX 78617, US, on June 16, 2026, from 10:00 am and a Graveside Service will be held immediately following at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749, US, on June 16, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
