Carlos Juarez-Cortez

Carlos Juarez-Cortez is preceded in death by his son, Alejandro "Alex" Cortez-Rico as well as parents Fausto Cortez and Guadalupe Juarez-Cortez. He is survived by his wife Maria Rico; four sons, Carlos Alberto Cortez-Rico, Oscar Cortez-Rico, Ricardo Gabriel Cortez-Rico, Eduardo Steve Cortez-Rico; two daughters, Hortencia Claudia Cortez-Rico (and husband Victor Trevino-Vargas), Nancey Cortez-Rico; one daughter in law, Jennifer Cortez (wife of the late Alejandro Cortez-Rico); Four grandsons, Alek Logan Cortez, Fabian Dominick Cortez, Jacob James Villarreal, and Christopher Kane Villarreal; five great grandkids, Ariana Michelle Villareal, Jacob James Villarreal Jr., Christopher "Papas" Kane Villarreal, Giovanna Elaine Villarreal, and Roman "Quito" Villarreal.

Pallbearers: Oscar Cortez-Rico, Victor Trevino, Victor Rodriguez, Alek Logan Cortez, Fabian Dominick Cortez, Jacob James Villarreal, Jacob Robert Alvarez, Ricardo Gabriel Cortez-Rico.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave,, Austin, Texas 78704. A recitation of the holy rosary will occur Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Rd., Austin, TX 78702. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704.
