Carol Farr, 70, of Austin, TX passed away on November 3rd in the company of her children, after a battle with ovarian cancer. Carol was born January 14th, 1952 to Harry and Velma Kenreigh in Miami, OK. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. Carol devoted her life to her two children, Jason and Hilary Farr, and to the rehabilitation of second chance dogs that needed her special brand of kindness and patience. She also treasured her granddaughters, Lila, Caroline, and Genevieve Farr. Carol’s warmth, empathy, and open nature will be missed by all who knew her. Carol is predeceased by her parents and survived by her son, daughter and three grandchildren. Please consider a donation to Austin Pets Alive in lieu of flowers.
