Carol Ann Fredenburg of Austin, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born on November 30, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky. Carol’s family moved from Louisville to Cincinnati, Ohio, when Carol was very young. She grew up in Cincinnati’s suburbs.
Carol graduated from Rollins College in 1996 with an accounting degree.
Carol worked at various accounting jobs of increasing responsibility until she decided to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam. Carol passed the two-day exam on her first attempt and received the highest score of her class.
She was actively involved in animal welfare and patriotic support of America’s servicemen.
Carol is preceded in death by her father, James Beckham, in 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Fredenburg, mother, Virginia Beckham; and her brother, David Beckham.
Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, Cincinnati, Ohio.
