

Carol Jean Hill was born to Willie W. Jackson and Oma Lee (Monroe) on November 27, 1941. She was a woman who truly walked in beauty and elegance. She was a queen to her beloved husband Charles, a Princess to her mother, an Angel to her children, a staunch supporter of her siblings and a strong defender of her friends.
Following graduation from L.C. Anderson High School, Carol enrolled in Nixon Clay Business College and completed her certification as an administrative assistant. She married the love of her life Charles on September 26, 1964. This union lasted almost 60 years.
God is the great lifter of heads and hearts. He gladly shows favor to those who look to Him with trusting expectations. That's exactly what Carol and Charles did when deciding to start a family. Upon the birth of their first child, a girl named Charlotte; they celebrated with tears of pure joy. Upon the arrival of their son Tony, Charles and Carol realized that their love was a gift from heaven and that their love was created to love and nurture Charlotte and Tony.
With humility, Carol performed her vocation as a wife and mother. And sincerity she acted diligently and as a friend she was an outstanding listener and confidant. To see the beauty in vanity, you saw Carol.
Carol was employed in Administrative roles at Independent School Districts of Austin and San Antonio Texas. She was also employed as a Customer Service Representative at banks in Round Rock, Uvalde and Austin. Carol was later employed by Texas Department of Health where she retired after many years of service. Carol spent much of her time caring for her beloved mother until her mother departed for heaven.
Carol was a dedicated member of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of Mission I. She departed this life in God's friendship on June 8, 2024 and it is believed that she was welcomed into God's Kingdom.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Rosie Lee and one brother Curtis.
She leaves to mourn her transition, her cherished husband, Charles M. Hill; daughter Charlotte Yvette Wesley (Patrick), son Charles A. Hill “Tony” (Shannon), six grandchildren Prezel E. Hardy Jr. (Christina), Cambriege J. Wesley, Caleb J. Hill, John H. Gibbs, Chariah O. Hill, Cooper R. Brooks, one great grandson Jaxon Ellis Hardy; three sisters, Beatrice Butler, Margarett Wright (Ted), and Gail Jacquat (Jeff); three brothers, Willie Jackson, Mark Jackson (Milo) and Bobby Jackson (Ora); beloved sisters-in-law Bettye M. Sinegal (Edward), Beulah Jackson Bradshaw and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
