She attended school at the University of Texas. Carolyn was raised in San Antonio and later moved to Austin, Texas. Carolyn enjoyed painting, sewing, and cooking. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in San Antonio, and attended many sewing groups, as well as, the Dream Study Group.
Carolyn is survived by her niece, Jamey Hodges; nephew, Steve Hodges; and cousins, Gregg Magel, Patricia Magel, and Barbara Dickerson.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Austin Memorial Park.
