Carolyn Elizabeth Schott Sauers Carolyn Elizabeth Schott Sauers, 69, was called upon by her heavenly Father on February 16, 2004. She is now reunited with her loving husband Victor Sauers and her twin sister, Marilyn Gully. Carolyn was born on June 14, 1934 in Belmont, Texas and raised in Mason, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who loved animals. She is survived by her beloved children, Lynn Hilferty and her husband Patrick, Katie Jennings and her husband Eric, Vicky Barkelew and her husband John, Victor Sauers and his wife Mikayla, Eric Sauers and Vilhelm Sauers; her cherished grandchildren, Tom Jennings, Vacara Hahn, John, Daniel and Becky Barkelew, Richard, Troy and Michael Hilferty, and our future Victor Matthew Sauers; sisters Marjorie Tinsley and her husband Russell and Peggy Mack; her brother Jay Scott and his wife Jody, cousin, David McCarver and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Rd. at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 19, 2004.
