Charles D. Whitehead May 24, 1920 ~ October 2, 2009 Charles served in the Army Air Corp, flying missions over the Pacific, where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Whitehead. Survivors include two sons, Donald Whitehead and Richard Whitehead; two sisters, Rosemary Sauter and Virginia West; and by eleven grandchildren. No services are planned.
