His mom & dad proceeded him in death, as well as three brothers and three siters, Johnny Yancey, Rogedale Yancey Jr., Bruce Yancey, Connie Yancey, Vanessa Yancey & Cathy Yancey.
He leaves to cherish his memory, three sisters; Barbara Yancey, Betty Yancey & Patricia Yancey and a loving friend Katherine, who he loved, and Lucy (his dog).
Charles loved dominoes and scratch-offs and junking, but he loved his family, he loved blues, and Tennessee Whiskey.

A wake service will be held at Fuller Sheffield Funeral Services, located at 2808 E. MLK Jr. Blvd., Austin, TX 78702, on December 5, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Visitation is scheduled for December 6, 2025, from 2:00 pm, at the same location.
A Celebration of Life will take place on December 6, 2025, from 3:00 pm, also at Fuller Sheffield Funeral Services.
