Charlotte and I shared many conversations about the Bible and life in general.We shared inspirational tapes as well. She visited my church and we had a great time sharing our mutual love of God.     We enjoyed working together for a time. For 2 years now I have carried a trinket of a little nurse on my dashboard which she gave to me.     She shared stories with me about "Pumpkin" and I of course bragged about my dog "Max." I will always think of her fondly. I think of her daily as the little nurse she gave me rides with me everywhere. I will miss her greatly but I know God has her in His arms now.      My condolences to the Family on the loss of a great person and friend. Take comfort in knowing that she is not really lost but with The Almighty God.



When I think of Charlotte I see her wry, playful smile.  I hear her un-assuming, childlike laughter.  I feel her love.  The New Testament records 40 parables Jesus used to describe the Kingdom of Heaven.  Then on Sept 11, 1951 He created a girl who embodied more of the "such is the Kingdom of Heaven" than any person I've ever met.  She was selfless in her consideration of others; a model for those she left behind as she awoke Saturday morning holding her Master's hand.  We're gonna miss her.  But we'll see her soon.



I will always remember how much love was in the hugs that Charlotte always had ready for me and my family. She was a true gift from God and I feel honored to have known her. She will be missed.



Charlotte and Dee Dee.  They were high school soul mates and good running buddies in their teens.  And Charlotte loved to hear Dee Dee sing.  When I married Dee Dee in 1971, Charlotte befriended me.  She once told me that anyone Dee Dee loved was "OK" by her.  The fact that I enjoyed a good steak and I didn't rankle Sheba sealed our friendship.  Sheba once made Charlotte proud over me on a hot summer day when we were caught swimming at Camel's Hole.  The Ranger thought I needed to leave.  Sheba thought the Ranger should leave.  After that, it was OK for me to take the motorcycle she and Sheba rode for a spin.  Charlotte's mortal body was against her for much of her life but she was always resolute and confident and she always strived to see the good in every situation.  We will miss her, but we know she laid down her mortality in the assurance and peace only Christ can give.  She knew the Lord and loved Him as long as I knew her, and we know she's with Him now.  Thanks Lord, for sharing Charlotte with us.



Miss Charlotte,    We knew when we last visited that your body was waning, but your spirit shined through. May your next journey be filled with companionship, love, the perfect South Austin T-ball game, tolerance and intellectual stimulation. I guess now our designation as "mere RNII's" doesn't matter. You are now at peace - Robin



A generous friend and coworker of mine - she is greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends. When I last spoke with her 2 weeks ago she was concerned about trying to help another friend and not with her own failing health. We did not get to have our picnic with her this  Summer, but know that the Lord has a more satisfying and eternal reunion planned.
