Charlyne Sue Egidio-Hubbard (Jones), of Pflugerville TX, passed away on May 15, 2021.

Charlyne was born in Kansas City, KS at Bethany Hospital to Lester & Darlyne Jones on March 29, 1948.

Charlyne always had a presence about her that began in her high school years. The way she spoke with poise and confidence, earned her the recognition throughout all of Texas during a speech contest with the 1st place award.

Throughout Charlyne’s life she enjoyed the finer things life had to offer. She could walk into a room with elegance and class, like a movie star. Her beauty was undeniable. She loved cooking her signature meal of Italian Spaghetti for those she loved. Listening to music and dancing enjoying every beat of the song.

Charlyne was the mother of two beautiful daughters Lorrie and Nicole. She carried an undeniable love deep in her soul for her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with her grandson Kobe.

Charlyne was passionate about her job where she worked for 18 years at The Gallery of Salons. This is where she developed so many true friendships. This is where she shined. Charlyne always saw the beauty in everyone. She had an open, loving heart with empathy for those during their time of need. She was the friend everyone turned to for advice. “Pray to God, and he will have the answers you seek” she would say.

Through all of Charlyne’s many journeys and life experiences, she met the man she fell in love with and married Rick Hubbard. She spent her final years filled with love and feeling complete with where life had taken her.

Charlyne is preceded in death by her father Lester Jones, Brother Tommy (Charles) Jones and Sister Sherrie Hugunin (Jones).

Charlyne is survived by her husband Rick Hubbard, Daughters Nicole Egidio, Lorrie (Aaron) Waters, Grandchildren Kobe, Coral, and Bryce. Your Mom was such a beautiful person inside and out! I loved being around your Mom so much when I was a little girl. I never went to anyone but I always wanted to go to her and sit on her lap! I always remember her perfume smelling so good and she gave the best hugs! Always a memory I will treasure forever❤️

Charlene was more than a Cousin to me. From the time she was born, & I was 3 years old, throughout our childhood we were like Sisters. I cannot recall any special occasion we were not together! We were playmates, & confidantes. Together we seemed to have great ideas for fun! There was the rainy day we decided a mud bath was a fantastic thing to do. Oh, we laughed & had so much fun rubbing that mud all over ourselves! We gave little thought to how our Mom’s would react, We never
Did that again! Let’s
just leave it that our names were MUD! From the time we were babies, until we both married, we had so much fun!I always thought we would reconnect as we grew older, but we waited too long. Now I can look forward to being with her in that City of Jasper walls & Golden Avenues , where we will be young & carefree once again. Charlyne, I love you!
