Claire Reagan Pelegrin was born on April 18, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Claire loved growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast and the beach was one of her favorite places to be throughout her life. She graduated from Richard King High School. She saw the world while attending the University of Colorado Semester at Sea, went on to obtain a Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas, and worked as a graphic designer and as a teacher. Claire enjoyed the music scene and the many friends she met in Austin and made it her home. She was a much loved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend and will be missed.
Claire is preceded in death by her father, Ted J. Reagan. She is survived by her son, Felix Pelegrin, of Austin; her mother, Lorraine Reagan, of Bastrop; her brother, Ryan Reagan, of Bastrop; and her sister, Rene Bynum, of Houston.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Austin or the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
