Clarence Fay Duciaume

Clarence Fay Duciaume, age 82, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. He was born on March 31, 1944, in Volney, New York, to Fabian and Irene Duciaume.

Clarence lived a life defined by dedication, curiosity, service, and love for family. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1968, carrying with him the values of duty and commitment throughout his life.

A lifelong enthusiast of technology and electronics, Clarence built a distinguished career as an electronic technician, a profession he devoted himself to for nearly 40 years. His passion for learning and technology led him to earn an Associate Degree in Electronics from Onondaga Community College in 1977, an accomplishment of which he was immensely proud. Whether troubleshooting a complex electronic problem or exploring the latest technological advances, Clarence's inquisitive mind and love of innovation never faded.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Clarence will be remembered most for his warm personality, infectious sense of humor, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He enjoyed sharing stories, exchanging laughs, and brightening the day of anyone fortunate enough to cross his path. His kindness, wit, and genuine interest in others left lasting impressions on friends, family, and strangers alike.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Fabian and Irene Duciaume, and his sister, Marlene Duciaume.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Donna Duciaume; his daughter, Colette Duciaume-Wright; his son, Brian Duciaume; his son-in-law, Homer Alvarez; his granddaughter, Monique Wright; his grandson, Marcellus Wright; his brother, Richard Duciaume; his sister, Benita Reynolds; and a host of beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Though he is no longer with us, Clarence's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, the knowledge he passed on, and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752, US, on August 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
