

Clifford Edwin "Skipper" Williams, aged 64, resident of Kyle, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2013. He was born January 17th, 1949. He graduated from Travis High School with the class of 1967. He then went on to proudly serve in the US Navy for 26 years, where he served in the Vietnam War.
In his early adult years, he was an avid bowler, and enjoyed participating in recreational leagues alongside his friends. He also enjoyed fishing and family poker games.
He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Kyle, where he served faithfully as a trustee. He also was an active member of the Central Texas AMVETS Post 115, as the chaplain.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Christine Doyal and Denzil Williams; his brothers, Charles Wayne and Billy.
Skipper is survived by sisters, Sandra Brice, Shari Wilkison and husband Rick, of Conroe, Texas; his son, Clint Williams and wife Rhonda, of New Braunfels, Texas; daughters, Casey Williams of Kyle, Texas and Kristy Mendez with husband Steve, of Waxahachie, Texas. He also lives in through his granddaughters, Tiffany and Tonya Titus; great-grandson, Ayden Titus, of Waxahachie, Texas; also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, other close family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704. Funeral Service 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Kyle.
