I met Courtni at work, over time she opened up more and more. She was always so sweet and such a genuine person. Her smile and laugh would light up any room! We enjoyed bonding over pups, fishing or cars. Now when I see a Nissan GTR, I can’t help but think of Courtni.

I loved you calling me Tia Pam! ❣️❣️❣️and our chats we had! You were an exceptional young lady! Your mother and you were besties and the understanding between you both was more than "mother & daughter"! I love you both and pray for some sort of peace 🕊️ for them in their lives in your absence. HER LAUGH WAS CONTAGIOUS AND HER SMILE WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL LIKE HER SOUL. I LOVE COURTNI LIKE SHE IS MY SISTER, WE DIDN'T HAVE TO TALK OFTEN, DUE TO OUR LIVING IN DIFFERENT STATES, BUT WHEN WE WOULD TALK IT WOULD BE LIKE NO TIME HAD PASSED. I HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MEMORY OF FINDING OUT ABOUT JOSE AND HOW HE WAS THE ONE FOR HER AND ALSO OF FINDING OUT ABOUT COURTNI BEING PREGNANT. I CRIED LIKE A BABY WHEN SHE SENT ME THE PICTURES WITH A SIMPLE QUESTION "CAN YOU KEEP A SUPER BIG SECRET" AND THEN A SIMPLE STATEMENT "MEET BABY AVA". I WILL NEVER DELETE THOSE MESSAGES. MY HEART ACHES FOR MYSELF AND FOR COURTNI'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS BECAUSE THIS IS SUCH A GREAT LOSS. I LOVE YA'LL, MY TEXAS FAMILY! COURTNI, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND AM TRYING TO FIND THE STRENGTH TO GET THROUGH THIS BUT IT IS SO HARD. I AM HAPPY THAT YOU ARE WITH YOUR LOVE, LITTLE BABY AVA SHAYNE, BUT I AM SO SAD THAT YA'LL WERE TAKEN TOO SOON. REST IN SWEET PEACE COURTNI AND AVA, I CAN'T WAIT TO HUG YOUR NECK!

This is one of my favorite memories I have a picture of.  Courtni was so quick to include us in something if they had an idea to do something fun. Whether it was pinballs, escape rooms, or hanging out at the house cooking dinner with each of our families- She will always hold a special place in my heart.
