

Crispin R. Lugo Sr., 91, a World War II veteran of Austin, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, the 13th of September 2011. He was born on the 25th of October 1919 in Ganado, Texas. Crispin was preceded in death by his wife Angelita C. Lugo and son Crispin Lugo Jr. He is survived by daughter Francis G. Navarro of Austin and sons Ben C. Lugo and wife Leticia of Austin., Alexander B. Lugo of Austin, Ricardo Gonzales and wife Alma of Houston, nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Honoring Crispin as pallbearers will be Alexander B. Lugo, Kris Anthony Lugo, Ben Lugo Jr., Leslie Nicole Lugo, Christopher Lugo and Steve Alvarado. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, the 16th of September 2011 from six o’clock until eight o’clock with a Rosary starting at seven o’clock in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 17th of September 2011 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2110 East Second Street, Austin, TX 78702. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, TX. A heartfelt thanks goes to Dr. Michael D.
