She was born in Midland Texas to parents of Terrell Hunter and Mary Henderson. The family relocated to Lubbock Texas in 1965, where she attended Lubbock Public Schools. After graduating she worked for Lubbock State School and Texas Instruments. After some years she relocated to Austin Texas, where she was employed by National Instruments for 35 plus years. She had a love for anything that had to do with tigers, she also had a love for singing and performed with several local bands in Lubbock as well as Austin.
Cynthia was preceded in death by Mary Henderson Adams (mother), B.B. Adams (step-father), Terrell Hunter (father), Shirley Ann Lewis Tyson (sister), John L. Henderson (brother), Eldridge B. Hunter (brother), Hazel Henderson (aunt).
She leaves to cherish her memory, brothers Alton of Austin, James and wife Joann of NY, Charles and wife Diane of Arizona, Clayton and wife Shirley of Austin. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
