She was known as Grandma by her 3 grandson and 5 granddaughters and Tia to her countless nieces and nephews. A job she proudly enjoyed.
Cynthia, will lovingly forever be remembered for her strong faith in God, kindness and the love she showed for others as well as her infectious laugh, one which no one was able to miss especially when she was listening to her favorite man Jay… Raising 3 boys being a single mother was never an easy task requiring so much strength but till her last breath she was proud of the men she raised. Making sure they knew no matter what happened she would always stand by their side. She went on to retire from the City of Austin recently after over 20 years of service. Retirement she spent fulfilling her dad’s last wish for her, taking care of her mom. Through all the stresses and hardships, she had to deal with in life Cynthia always came out with a smile, a caring word, or just one word of motivation to continue moving forward and making sure you were stepping up. She will leave behind a line of broken hearts but a lasting legacy that will never be filled.
