Our beloved Daisy Ramos Rivera was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age of 43. She was born in San Marcos, Texas on May 30, 1977 to Desideria Ramos. Agustin Rodriguez raised her from the age of 5, she loved and adored her Daddy. She graduated from Jack C Hays High School in 1995, whom was admired by all her peers. During that time she met Phil and developed a friendship with him. Shortly after, they were inseparable, sharing the love of Latin Hip Hop and raising their six children. Her devotion to her family is admirable. Family was her whole world, making sure to be active in her children and grand children’s lives. Daisy was our beautiful, patient mother hen. She was a spiritual woman, extending guidance, advice, and encouragement, making time for everyone. Her generous and compassionate heart compelled her to extend love, support and helped raised family and friends in times of need. She captured precious memories of the people she loved and was surrounded by. She will be immensely missed by all of those that knew and adored her.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Natalio and Ofelia Ramos; Tio Jesus "Chuy" Ramos, Tia Margarita "Mague" Trevino, Tia Teresa Melendez, Father in-law, Frankie Rivera and nephew Johnathan Arrellano.

Daisy was survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Phillip Rivera. Together they raised six children, Ashtyn (Adam), PJ “Bubba”, Logan, “LoLo”, Brandon “B”, Issac “IJ” and Isabell “Bella” her princess and sweet pea and three grandchildren, Daniel "Baby D", Aubrie and Alanna Bear; her parents, Agustin and Desideria Rodriguez; her brothers, Randy Ramos (Amy) and Oscar Rodriguez (Veronica) and her sisters, Irma Pardo and Bonnie Cerda (Ralphel). Mother-in-law, Beatrice Rivera; Brother in-laws, Rudy Trevino (Beatrice) and Michael Rivera (Lupe); Sister in-laws, Rosie (Mark) and Gina (Lionel); her compadres and best friends of 29 years, John and Susan Contreras; her Goddaughter, Sesalanna Cordona, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and an abundance of relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
