Danica was a woman whose greatest gift was her capacity to love fiercely. She faced life's challenges with courage, grace, and determination, always finding strength in the people she held dear. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Of all the blessings in Danica's life, none meant more to her than her daughter, Danika Tumlinson. Their bond was the most treasured relationship of her life. Danica was immensely proud of her daughter and found her greatest joy in being her mother. Their love, laughter, friendship, and countless memories together were the foundation of Danica's happiness. To her daughter, she leaves a legacy of unconditional love, strength, and resilience that will live on for generations.
Danica is also survived by her loving mother, Dolores Luna (Arturo), whose steadfast love and support carried her throughout her life, and by her devoted brother, Jody Ybarbo, whose loyalty and care were constant sources of comfort and strength. And many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Margarita Ybarbo Luna, and grandfather, Daniel Luna, whose love and guidance helped shape the woman she became. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them.
Those who knew Danica will remember her fierce heart, her compassion for others, and her ability to make people feel loved and accepted. She was a loyal daughter, a caring sister, a cherished friend, and above all, a loving and devoted mother.
While the pain of losing her is immeasurable, so too is the gratitude for having shared in her life. The memories she created, the love she freely gave, and the lives she touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
