Danielle was born on June 27, 1992 in Austin, TX to Mike and Rhonda Lefteau. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in December 2013. Danielle taught elementary school for Elgin ISD, Austin ISD, and Manor ISD.
Danielle was always a happy and outgoing child. She never knew a stranger, she was a friend to all, and showed an incredible sense of empathy and compassion at a very early age.
When Danielle was five years old, she told us many times she wanted to play baseball. We signed her up for T-ball and then she played softball from age six until she graduated high school. She played league ball, select, and varsity softball. So many wonderful memories for all of us with all the softball families.
Danielle loved spending time with her family and friends, especially trips to the beach and watching sports. She was an avid supporter of all Longhorn sports but baseball and football were her favorites.
Danielle’s greatest passion was being a teacher. She had a special gift for connecting with her students, teaching with immense compassion and kindness.
Danielle always wanted to help others. She gave so much of herself to those in need. We will always remember her smile and her beautiful, giving heart.
Thank you for loving Danielle and supporting her family at this impossible time.
